The Alpstream Research Center is in Ostana

The Research Center is located in the municipality of Ostana, in the Upper Po Valley, close to the Po river spring. Ostana was awarded as one of the "Most beautiful villages in Italy" and received the Cresco Award for its sustainable development in 2017.

The structure hosting the Center is the result of a skilful recovery of the typical Alpine architecture and includes a laboratory, classrooms, conference rooms and a guest house. Part of the Center is located along the Po river, where experimental units (artificial rivers) for river ecology and hydraulics research are currently in use.
